We are in a throwaway culture where consumers are buying 3 times as many clothes as just 4 years ago. Often people only wear garments a few times before discarded them and buying more.

 More than 1 million tonnes of textile waste finds its way into landfill sites every year, 50 of which is reusable.

Apart from the clear environmental benefits of working with these "Materials", the outcome of the product we offer is unrivaled. Every single HIMANE design is one-of-a-kind, made using a completely unique combination of recycled garments, colored, patterned or textured fabrics.

COMMISSIONS

It is also possible to get involved with the design process yourself. HIMANE now offers you the option to co-design your very own HIMANE piece. Whether you have an old t-shirt, jeans, dresses, slacks, jackets which has become shapeless or stained, a cashmere jumper which has had an attack of the moths or whether you just want to choose your own color combination, HIMANE offers a bespoke service. Every commission is individually priced so please get in touch for a quote.

We are also planning to work with existing brands and retailers to rework their own waste dead/faulty stock, breathing life back into clothes which would've been destined for landfill. Be it dead stock or faulty garments we can use our specialist skills to provide creative and sustainable solutions for the fashion industry.
